Oscillation in First Order Nonlinear Retarded Argument Differential Equations
A result of Ladas; Lakshmikantham, and Papadakis [1] concerning oscillation caused by lag in linear first order retarded argument differential equations is generalized to the sublinear case. Examples showing that such generalization to the superlinear case is impossible are given. 0. Introduction. It is known ([1], for example) that (A) g e C(R, R), g(t) < t for t e R, g(t) is strictly increasi...

In this article, we establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the oscillation of both bounded and unbounded solutions of the differential equation
متن کاملNecessary and sufficient conditions for oscillation of first order neutral delay difference equations
In this paper, we obtained some necessary and sufficient conditions for oscillation of all the solutions of the first order neutral delay difference equation with constant coefficients of the form ∆[x(n)− px(n− τ)] + qx(n− σ) = 0, n ≥ n0 (∗) by constructing several suitable auxiliary functions. Some examples are also given to illustrate our results.
متن کاملNecessary and Sufficient Conditions for Oscillation of Neutral Delay Differential Equations
In this article, we concerned with oscillation of the neutral delay differential equation [x(t) − px(t − τ)]′ + qx(t − σ) = 0 with constant coefficients. By constructing several suitable auxiliary functions, we obtained some necessary and sufficient conditions for oscillation of all the solutions of the aforementioned equation for the cases 0 < p < 1 and p > 1.

and Applied Analysis 3 Motivated by 14, 15 , here we study the existence of AL-solutions for 1.1 . The approach is completely different from the one used in 15 , in which an iteration process, jointly with a comparison with the linear equation y 4 q t y 2 0, is employed. Our tools are based on a topological method, certain integral inequalities, and some auxiliary functions. In particular, for ...
